12th Annual Cville Sabroso Festival

9 hours of non-stop live music, dancing, food & drinks, kids' activities, and artisan handicrafts, all under Ting Pavilion's big tent (rain or shine)!

Come experience the richness and diversity of Latin American/Hispanic culture: live music and lively dance performances, food, artisan crafts, and interactive cultural activities that will immerse you in the warmth and hospitality of Latino communities. Cville Sabrosoprovides an unforgettable celebration of the vibrant Latino spirit and cultural heritage.

Over 4500 people attended this family-friendly event last year because it offers fiesta fun for everyone, including:

• Continuous live music and dance performances on the mainstage (with dancing in front of the stage for everyone who wants to join in!)

• Free Kids’ Zone (1-6pm) offering face painting, the JMRL Library bookmobile, and supplies for making traditional handicrafts.

• Kids’ Parade of Flags

• Beer Garden (adults only)

2023 Performers and their represented cultures (2024 list coming soon): Salay (Bolivia), Ramona & The Holy Smokes (Mexico), Panamanian Traditional Dances (Panama), Proyecto Piquete (Puerto Rico), Tinkuy (Peru), Villa Sabrosa (Mexico), Flor de Caña (Honduras), Performers (El Salvador), Fuego Frio, Poder Supremo (Mexico), Las Banderas, and La Sonora Dinamite (Colombia).

Ting Pavilion is in Downtown Charlottesville, with plenty of street and garage parking available, and just 10 minutes by car from Monticello.

Sin Barreras, the Charlottesville/Waynesboro nonprofit that organizes Cville Sabroso, will continue posting 2024 information as September 21 gets closer. See colorful pictures from past Festivals at: https://www.sinbarrerascville.org/cville-sabroso/
