Red Mountain Entertainment in conjunction with The nTelos Wireless Pavilion are proud to announce the 6th Annual Top of the Hops Beer Festival presented by Starr Hill Brewery and Beer Run. Charlottesville's favorite Fall event returns Saturday, September 26th at The nTelos Wireless Pavilion in Charlottesville, Virginia.

The last two years, the event sold out and organizers expect to see record crowds again for the 2015 festival which will once again showcase craft beers from around the world. Patrons will receive a commemorative sampling mug and have access to two-ounce samples of over 150 world-class craft beers and ciders in four Beer Gardens, a Cider Garden, a Cask Garden and an Import Garden. The festival will also feature the Brew University Education Area where patrons will enjoy educational beer seminars.

2015 will see the return of the Cider Garden with handpicked ciders, the Import Garden featuring great imports from around the world, the Cask Garden, featuring casks from select breweries tapped throughout the afternoon, and the uber-competitive corn hole tournament! Returning from 2014 will also be the very popular Silent Disco where patrons will be able to dance along to music that only they can hear while wearing a pair of the provided headphones! We will also feature live music throughout the afternoon.

Upgrade to the Top of the Hops VIP Experience! VIP Tickets will gain patrons access to the festival one hour early to take advantage of a more exclusive beer tasting experience. The VIP ticket allows entry into the private VIP Area on the stage with complimentary food from 3pm – 6pm and an exclusive beer selection not available to the general public.  New this year will be the luxury VIP toilet trailer with running water, AC, and no lines!  VIP tickets are $80 and are always the first to sell out, so act now.  VIP Designated Driver tickets will be $30 and include all the amenities without the beer tastings.

Music by Gallatin Canyon: Despite the Montana namesake, Gallatin Canyon is a Charlottesville, Virginia-based bluegrass band. Influenced by dozens of great artists, both contemporary and from the past, the band showcases masterful instrumentation, air-tight arrangements and soaring vocal harmonics. And if traditional bluegrass isn’t your cup of bourbon, don’t worry — you’re likely to hear a few familiar, creatively-arranged classic rock and country covers too. From Bill Monroe and Flatt & Scruggs, to the Beatles and the Avett Brothers, at any given show, you’ll hear an eclectic mix, crossing multiple musical genres.

We will offer 500 Early Bird General Admission tickets at $40 each.  Once they are gone, General Admission will be $45 until September 25th.  GA tickets, if still available, will be $50 on the day of the event. General Admission Designated Driver tickets are available for $15 for those patrons that will not be sampling beer.
